曾聽一位前賢說，老前人曾提到老師在世時說：「只要站著就要講道，不講道，就要去做。」
這種積極、大無畏、不退轉的精神，正是老前人一生的寫照。
A Tao senior said that Lao Qian Ren had once stated that when Shi-Zun was alive,
he had said,“When standing, we have to preach Tao; otherwise, we have to practice it.”
This kind of positive, fearless,
and progressive spirit is the essence of Lao Qian Ren’s life.
有一年老前人去美國，在從美回國送機時，壇主及道親誠心誠意買了一把拐杖送給老前人，老前人在回國下機時，看到一老人不良於行，立刻拐杖就送給他了，令陪行的人又惋惜，又感動。
Once, when Lao Qian Ren was returning to Taiwan from the US,
many Tao members went to the airport to say farewell to him.
Temple hosts and Tao members, in sincerity,
bought a walking stick for Lao Qian Ren.
When gone out of the airport in Taiwan,
Lao Qian Ren saw an elderly person walking with difficulty;
he immediately gave the walking stick to the elder.
This behavior made accompanying Tao members feel pity and feel touched.
